Each year, High Desert Medical Group and the Antelope Valley Press sponsor the Senior of the Year contest. Nominations are solicited from members of the community through advertisements. All nominations are reviewed by a committee and this year five were selected as finalists.
Chuck Murphy, Founder and CEO of Music and Kids, is among the finalists in this year's contest. The winner of the Senior of the Year award will be announced at the Senior Expo, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Antelope County Fairgrounds located at 2551 West Avenue H in Lancaster, CA, inside the H.W. Hunter Pavilion. Come out and join Music and Kids in celebrating its founder that day in the park. He's already a winner to us!
