Each year, High Desert Medical Group and the Antelope Valley Press sponsor the Senior of the Year contest. Nominations are solicited from members of the community through advertisements. All nominations are reviewed by a committee and this year five were selected as finalists.
Chuck Murphy, Founder and CEO of Music and Kids, was among the finalists in this year's contest, alongside fellow nominees Jean Nizlak, Katie Stanley and Lynn Agostino, and the winner: Ronald Salser. |
